Saleres, in the heart of the Lecrin Valley, is very pretty and naturally charming, located alongside a very lovely river. Albuñuelas
Albuñuelas isn’t a village you just happen to drive through. You have to make a point of going there. Much like Niguelas, over the other side of the Valley, it’s set apart from the other villages, with has two main roads leading in to it; one from the north, Conchar and the motorway; and one from the west from the direction of Restabal and Pinos, but no through-road. Chite
The charming little village of Chite is one of the Lecrin Valley’s smaller villages with only around 300 inhabitants. It’s beautifully looked after and kept to the highest standards by the residents. Its tiny streets wind down the hill towards the lower barrio, cemetery, citrus orchards and olive groves.
