The Location

The Property
A historic 18th century manor house, with many original features and a warm homely atmosphere.

The Village
Pinos del Valle is a quiet traditional Andalusian village that keeps its cultural traditions alive and where the local tapas bar is still busy every morning with people enjoying their cup of coffee and light breakfast with neighbours and friends. It has a bakery, a local supermarket with butcher, a pharmacy, post office, doctors, bank, hairdresser and tapas bar.
Perfect for families, there is a primary school for children up to 13 years old, after which they go to the high school in Durcal (15 minutes by school bus).
Furthermore, the village offers a park with children’s playground, a Padel court, free to use for residents, on the shores of lake Beznar, is an open-air bar/restaurant, open during the summer months.

- Restaurants in neighbouring villages: Within 10 minutes (La Despensa in Restábal and Los Naranjos and Elysium in Melegís).
- Large Mercadona supermarket: 15 minutes (Nigüelas).
- Other shops, such as DIY, clothing, specialty shops and electronics etc: 15 minutes (Durcal).
- Airports: Granada airport 35 minutes, Malaga airport 1 hour 15 minutes.


Activities
Many walking and mountain bike trails start from the door. The area is a paradise for cyclists and walkers, but also nature lovers (bird watchers) will get their money’s worth as well as sports enthusiasts who are into trail running, skiing and mountain climbing. There are also several golf courses within 30 minutes’ drive.
The Beznar water sports centre is located on the other side of the Beznar lake with pedalos, sailing, windsurfing and paddle boarding. They also organise children’s camps in the summer with a range of activities during the long summer holidays and at weekends there is often live music in the associated chiringuito.
